Disputing the charge by affirming it was correct.
After the now-dismissed editor Uri Berliner came out to declare NPR was a biased news outlet, one of the consistent deniers of that accusation was TV and media correspondent Eric Deggans. Well, he seems to have forgotten the script that they are supposed to be putting up an unbiased facade these days.
Deggans came out and voluntarily touted a column written by avowed Never Trumper and Lincoln Project ally George Conway concerning the Trump show trial.

Deggans hurts his non-partisan cause here in a few ways:
He promotes a deeply partisan source.
He repeats a slanted impression of Trump, not an objective measurement.
He relies on the testimony of the repeatedly discredited Michael Cohen for his impression.
Matching Media Memorandum – VARIOUS OUTLETS
The narrative that Ron DeSantis can control the weather is too tempting to avoid.
Last year, we had vaunted minds like Chris Hayes coming forward with the implication that since Governor Ron DeSantis turned down federal climate change money it led to Florida getting hit by a hurricane. Now, we have the newest version of policy affecting the weather.
Reports came out that DeSantis signed new energy laws that removed the words "Climate Change," as well as altering or eliminating goals for renewable energy sources for the state.
Multiple outlets have come out to suggest that there was a correlation between this legislative move and the fact that the state was currently enduring a record heat wave.
The Washington Post and National Public Radio were some of the national news sources joining Florida outlets in this farce. Just to add to the unscientific nonsense, the law could not contribute, given it has not taken effect – until July.
Don’t Say Climate Change is a pretty dumb policy for a state that’s about to sink into the ocean but look at who’s in charge of Florida.

Low-Octane Gaslighting – THE HILL
The press continues their imbalanced reaction to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, the faith-based athlete guilty of delivering a faith-based message at a faith-based college graduation. The outrage, of course, vastly exceeds the content of the speech evidenced by the drastic lack of evidence of the objectionable portions.
Taking it to the extreme was The Hill, where it had to take it to the next step – declaring something that Butker never actually spoke.

Anything to keep from reporting on the dissolving case, we suppose...
The Donald Trump trial is not going the way the press was expecting. All the proof of this is found in the way they have been complaining about all the aspects apart from the case itself. Joining this chorus was Katy Tur, who saw the collection of Republicans sitting in the gallery and interpreted the nefarious nature of their presence.
Quite a big entourage today. It was Lauren Boebert, it was Matt Gaetz. Boris Epshteyn is always there. And there was something about, I mean, it felt to me like a mean girl quality to their presence. You get the idea that Donald Trump bringing this crowd with him is not just a show of force for the cameras outside, but it's a show of force for the witness inside and potentially even the jury.
The tell here is that she does not see the presence of others in the courtroom – like George Conway, members of the press, and HERSELF – as potentially influencing things.
Her sniping impression of things provoked Matt Gaetz to respond. George Conway, it needs to be noted, had been critical of Trump earlier in this case for allegedly falling asleep during the process. Gaetz noted what sparked their reactions was the fact that Conway had been blatantly snoozing in his bench location.
