As the Special Counsel report on President Biden's document scandal is released, it outlines how far gone the president has become mentally. The reactions in the press show journalists going crazy.

In a move surely having members of the White House questioning the wisdom, Biden was sent out in front of the press last night to show he is mentally competent – and then displayed the very issues the counsel alluded to. Here he is trying to sound bold and lucid concerning questions he received regarding the death of his son. Biden makes it out to be a crude intrusion on his private life when Beau's death is an item he brings up frequently for political purposes. Then his brain locks up after insisting he is fine.

As Biden froze on the name of his rosary patron saint, you know the Democrats began praying that few voters were actually watching.

Pounce of Prevention – THE NEW YORK TIMES

  • Seriously, gang, THIS is the best you could come up with?!

To kick off the distemper, The New York Times, of all outlets, went with the tired deflective tactic of trying to shift the focus onto the Republicans' reaction to things. This is just the start of the imbalanced approach, but it is a sign of trouble, nonetheless.

Democratic Custodial Services – MSNBC

  • Could this be considered a "Full Court Press"?

As a sign of just how bad this went and how desperate the measures are now on the left and in the media, MSNBC brought out their entire primetime host lineup to explain away all of this horrible news and the display. These experts attempted to tell us some grand contortions in logic to tell us how none of this evidence of his mental decline is valid.

  • Ari Melber tries to say Biden could not remember things like when his son died or the dates he was vice president on the advice of his attorneys.

  • Rachel Maddow offers proof that Biden is completely cognizant based on the fact that he rides his bike. (Enter the GIF of Biden falling off his bike → HERE.)

  • The attempt is made to equate mistaking in what drawer you placed your diploma to completely forgetting when you served in the White House as vice president six years ago.

  • Chris Hayes states the entirety of the bias in the Special Counsel report is exposed by looking over the nearly 400-page document delivered by Robert Hur and declaring it invalid due to "one word jumping off the page."

DNC PR Firm – ROLLING STONE

  • "We have all the proof this report is invalid – from the White House!"

At Rolling Stone, the dutiful stenographers were at their copy-paste best in refuting this report, as Nikki McCann Ramírez plays the role of the administration's mynah bird. She details all of the refutations delivered by the officials, concluding that Joe Biden is perfectly sound of mind, including such comments from White House adviser Ian Sams. What all of this denial manages to do, however, is place the president in a position to, in fact, become prosecuted.

In the report, Robert Hur basically said that he would not be moving forward with a trial because of the president's impacted condition:

Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.

This means that if Hur was wrong in his assessment, Biden is competent enough to be brought before a jury.

Not helping, Rolling Stone.

Low Octane Gas Lighting – LOS ANGELES TIMES

Look, we understand just how strong the desire is in the press to get beyond this current situation. But when we are faced with reported evidence from law enforcement as well as the persistent evidence of Joe's slide – especially when they bring him out to show how sharp he is, and he manages to instead prove Hur correct – your attempt to lie and tell us how Biden's age is a supreme benefit, you just come off looking pathetic.

This is not delusion on display in this editorial; this is a used car salesman attempting to tout the merits of an obvious lemon.

Gilded Reframe – THE BULWARK

  • If that is your backup roster, you might as well pack it in now.

Perhaps no other proof is needed of how bad things have become for the Democrats than this reaction from "True Conservative" (yes, we know – we say that as a joke), Bill Kristol. Following the release of the Robert Hur Report and Joe's subsequent fiasco of a White House presser, Capt. Kristol was remarkably candid in his panic. First, he admitted how he was valiantly searching the web, deep into the morning hours, searching for a viable replacement for Biden.

Then later, Billy posted an interview he conducted with James Carville, and the men were actually considering who else was out there in the Democratic Party to run this year. We leave it to you to decide which is the more desperate aspect of this discussion: That they are truly entertaining getting Biden off of the ticket or that names like Kamala Harris, Raphael Warnock, Gavin Newsom, and Andy Beshear are considered one of the best fields ever seen in politics.

Presentation Paradox – FOX NEWS

  • Just saying, Jesse, doing this during the critique of his mindset is a bit undercutting.

Okay, in the name of fairness here, if you are in the process of jumping on Biden over these mental malaprops, maybe not making the same missteps in the process is required. For instance, while Biden certainly hurt his image by conflating the leaders of Egypt and Mexico during his presser, Donald Trump, during his speech in Nevada, did a similar thing – he said Viktor Orban was the leader of Turkey, instead of Hungary.

Then we had Jesse Waters, who spoke with Governor Kristi Noem about the Biden White House appearance and discussed Biden's slide. But as they went into the factors of the president confusing leaders and countries, Jesse introduced the leader of South Dakota as the "Governor of South Carolina."
