Of course immediately below it.

“Homeland Security Chief Tells Mall Visitors to be ‘Vigilant’”

Putting aside Federal Court rulings, Executive Orders and legal status for 4 million undocumented (illegal) immigrants, we have just experienced a classic example of “fear mongering”.

44th A Presidential Conspiracy

The apparent sophisticated technological attack on SONY awhile ago, by North Korea, later proved to be a disgruntled employee, has apparently inspired a Somalian Militant Group with ties to Al Qaeda to warn the shoppers of America that they are coming. (can you really say all that with a straight face?) Obviously the Somalian’s haven’t read the latest retail sales reports or they would have designated other targets.

The apparent focus of concern is the Mall of America in Minnesota. They, however, “are not aware of any specific credible plot against the Mall of America or any other domestic commercial shopping center.”

Although the Somalian video was released online, for all to see, so too was a photo of Russian intervention in the Ukraine. This was done to generate arms funding. Unfortunately, for an aging and embarrassed US Senator from Oklahoma (who shall go nameless) the photo was taken several years before, leaving all of us to follow Will Rogers’ lead when he said “Don’t believe everything you read in the newspaper” or see on the internet.

The Secretary of Homeland Security appeared on five Sunday talk shows to warn of the demise of our National security if funding for the 9/11 creation wasn’t continued. The unintended consequence could be what to do with the 240,000+ employees. Oops, I mean the 30,000 office workers who would be furloughed since they are only the second line of defense. Difficult questions all.

What is not difficult to understand, however, is that when the Country has a need to be reminded of our War on Terror and subsequent financial outlays wanted there is always something that appears, excite, makes us all afraid and opens the checkbook. ISIS, SONY, Ukraine and now Somalia.

Coincidence? Perhaps!
