The Secretary of Homeland Security appeared on five Sunday talk shows to warn of the demise of our National security if funding for the 9/11 creation wasn’t continued. The unintended consequence could be what to do with the 240,000+ employees. Oops, I mean the 30,000 office workers who would be furloughed since they are only the second line of defense. Difficult questions all.
