Francesca Hong is not doing well. With every interview, her ability to put her foot in her mouth increases and her appeal to moderate and independent voters plummets. A few days ago, we learned that Hong said Thanksgiving was a racist, colonial holiday that should have been abolished in 1621. She said this during COVID, glad that a pandemic would hamper celebrations of a holiday she didn't like. "Cancel Thanksgiving," she wrote. "Should have done this in 1621. If it takes a worldwide pandemic for us to realize we should stop celebrating colonialism and the original superspreader event that killed indegenous [sic] folx and women so be it."

But Thanksgiving is a holiday most Wisconsinites love. The other day, Hong gave an interview on CNN where Kaitlin Collins asked her about Thanksgiving. Hong replied to the query, "I'm a chef ... but Thanksgiving is also a time that is incredibly painful for many people in our communities, so I think there I wanted to make sure that people understood that there are multiple views."

That's not what she said. She said it should have been canceled. That's not a viewpoint.

Now Hong is saying Thanksgiving is her favorite holiday.

"My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving," she said. "Yep. I don't want to cancel it. I actually love it."

"I'm going to be real. "I'm kind of a curmudgeon when it comes to holidays in general," Hong continued. We know. She hates Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. But she loves the commie holiday of May Day.

"So, right now, what we want to get serious about is making sure that we deliver a Democratic trifecta for the majority, for Democrats," Hong said. "And it's exciting to see more and more people join our movement, get engaged, get organized and get to work to make sure we have Democrats in the majority in the legislature and executive this year."

Absolutely no follow-up.

This is the third time she's changed her view on Thanksgiving.

Yes, it is.

This would not surprise us, she's that bad.

A painful time that she loves now, apparently.

There is nothing authentic about this campaign. There can't be, because if Hong ran on her honest platform β€” the abolition of America β€” she wouldn't stand a chance. So she's lying and pretending to be a moderate.

Don't fall for it.
