According to Secretary of State John Kerry, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki gave Kerry a promise to begin forming the next national government by July 1. The agreement came out of a two-hour meeting Monday to stress the need for uniting Iraq's Shiites, Sunnis, and Kurds.
