Dem Stacey Abrams' Close Ties to Sex Trafficking

Democrat Stacey Abrams's (D-GA.) brother-in-law was arrested on charges of human trafficking and attacking a teenager.

On Friday, news broke that Tampa police apprehended Jimmie Gardner after a 16-year-old reported that he attacked her for refusing to have sex.

In the wee hours of the night, Gardner reportedly coerced the victim to his hotel room at the Renaissance Hotel at International Plaza. The minor told authorities that she initially agreed to take money in exchange for sexual acts with Gardner. However, she said that she later changed her mind and no longer wanted to act with him, causing him to become irate. 

The two allegedly got into a verbal fight that escalated into a physical one. 

"Gardner advised the victim that she needed to leave his hotel room. The two got involved in a verbal altercation that escalated to a physical dispute after Gardner placed his hands around the victim's neck, impeding her breathing. After the dispute, Gardner left the hotel room, and the victim called 911," a press release read. 

This is not the first time Gardner has encountered similar issues with the law. 

The Office of the State Attorney of the 13th Judicial Circuit revealed that Gardner was convicted in 1987 for sexually assaulting two women in West Virginia, which was eventually exonerated 27 years later in 2016. 

Abrams's family is not the only Democrat to be involved in illegal sexual matters. 

Disgraced former congressman turned child sex offender Anthony Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison in 2017 after pleading guilty to admitting he exchanged naked photos and crude messages with a 15-year-old child, in which he was well aware of her age. He was also forced to register as a child sex offender for at least 20 years.

In addition, former CNN's Chris Cuomo's producer, John Griffin, pleaded guilty to sex crimes involving a nine-year-old child in 2022. He also allegedly tried to lure women and their daughters to his Vermont ski home for "sexual training," some of which involved BDSM activity. 

According to a YouGov poll, nearly half of Republican voters believe Democrats are running a sex trafficking scheme. 

The poll found that 49 percent of respondents said it's true that "top Democrats are involved in elite child sex-trafficking rings." 

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA.) has been a strong advocate for taking the pedophile ring leaders down.
