Explosive devices have been sent to the Obamas, Clintons, CNN, John Brennan, George Soros, and Eric Holder. It’s been a frenetic day—and luckily no one has been killed or wounded by these devices, described as rudimentary but functional. Of course, some, like Democratic NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo, are saying that the political rhetoric needs to be dialed down and that elected officials share that burden especially. That no so subtle swipe at President Trump is one of many that is to come, especially from CNN, which serves as the administration’s favorite punching bag. Yet, this isn’t a conservative phenomenon.

Meaning the intent here was mass murder.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) has been advocating mob-like antics against Trump officials and conservatives for months. Liberals have assaulted GOP candidates; they’ve said Republicans should be sent to the guillotine. Heck, there was a mass assassination attempt last year that almost claimed the life of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA). Former Attorney General Eric Holder said that it was time to “kick” Republicans. There was a letter laced with ricin sent to Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Sen. Ted Cruz’s (R-TX) Houston office received letters with white powder. Oh, and President Trump was the target of suspicious packages. But these people are either Republicans or work for Trump so who cares, right?

If there was anyone who shouldn’t have weighed in, it’s Hillary Clinton. She said this today [emphasis mine]:
Hillary Clinton on Wednesday responded to suspected explosive devices sent to her and other top Democratic officials and news outlets, saying it's a sign of a "troubling time" in America.
"It is a troubling time, isn't it? It's a time of deep divisions and we have to do everything we can to bring our country together," she said at a campaign event in Florida.
"We also have to elect candidates who will try to do the same."

Uh, who is this woman? Remember when she said this earlier this month during the vicious fight over the Supreme Court nomination of Brett Kavanaugh; that we cannot be civil with Republicans:
"You cannot be civil with a political party that wants to destroy what you stand for, what you care about," Clinton told CNN's Christiane Amanpour. "That's why I believe, if we are fortunate enough to win back the House and or the Senate, that's when civility can start again."
Clinton said that Senate Republicans under Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., "demeaned the confirmation process" and "insulted and attacked" Christine Blasey Ford – who testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee about a sexual assault she alleges Kavanaugh committed in 1982 – along with other "women who were speaking out."
Clinton compared the handling of Kavanaugh's confirmation to "Republican operatives shutting down the voting in 2000," the "swift-boating of John Kerry," attacks on former Arizona Sen. John McCain in the 2000 Republican primary and "what they did to me for 25 years."
Yeah, lady—today’s not the day to call for national unity after these comments. In fact, it would be best if you would just go away for bit…like forever.
