Trump Slams Google, Says Bias Against Conservatives 'Will Be Addressed'

President Trump on Tuesday vowed to look into Google’s alleged bias against conservative media, writing on Twitter that it’s a “very serious situation” and “will be addressed.”

“Google search results for “Trump News” shows only the viewing/reporting of Fake New Media. In other words, they have it RIGGED, for me & others, so that almost all stories & news is BAD,” he tweeted. “Fake CNN is prominent. Republican/Conservative & Fair Media is shut out. Illegal? 96 percent of results on “Trump News” are from National Left-Wing Media, very dangerous. Google & others are suppressing voices of Conservatives and hiding information and news that is good. They are controlling what we can & cannot see. This is a very serious situation-will be addressed!”

While Trump has repeatedly called out social media bias of companies like Twitter and Facebook, this is the first time he’s gone after the internet search giant, according to FoxNews.com. 

Earlier this month he talked about the discrimination of conservatives on social media, lamenting that “too many voices are being destroyed.”  

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and other tech executives will appear before the House Energy and Commerce Committee to discuss alleged bias against conservatives Sept. 5.
