Chelsea Clinton's Right: People (Like Her Mother) Shouldn't Make Up Attacks

Responding to Friday’s terror incident in France, where a machete-wielding man attacked French soldiers before they shot him multiple times, Chelsea Clinton tweeted that she was “very grateful no one [was] seriously hurt in the Louvre attack.” But she didn't just leave it at that. She went on to take a shot at Kellyanne Conway with this remark: “Or the (completely fake) Bowling Green Massacre. Please don’t make up attacks.”

Conway had mistakenly used the wrong word in her discussion about President Trump’s executive orders on refugees and immigration on MSNBC’s “Hardball” with Chris Matthews Thursday.

“I bet there was very little coverage, I bet it’s brand new information to people that President Obama had a six-month ban on the Iraqi refugee program after two Iraqis came here to this country, were radicalized and they were the masterminds behind the Bowling Green massacre,” Conway said. “Most people don’t know that because it didn’t get covered.”

Conway later clarified that she meant to say “Bowling Green terrorists,” in reference to this story:

Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees, according to FBI agents investigating the remnants of roadside bombs recovered from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green, Kentucky -- who later admitted in court that they'd attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq -- prompted the bureau to assign hundreds of specialists to an around-the-clock effort aimed at checking its archive of 100,000 improvised explosive devices collected in the war zones, known as IEDs, for other suspected terrorists' fingerprints.

Conway used one wrong word and was lambasted by the media for making up an attack, to which Chelsea Clinton joined the bandwagon.

But it seems Clinton forgot about her mother fabricating an entire story about coming under attack by sniper fire in Bosnia.

So, Chelsea, do us all a favor and remind your mother of that.
