As we continue to wait for the names of the more than 100 people who were slaughtered by ISIS terrorists last night in Paris, the New York Times is reporting there were Americans who were injured in the attacks.

Americans are among those wounded in the Paris terrorist attacks, and the United States government is working closely with the French authorities to identify those victims, the State Department said on Saturday.

The precise number of Americans hurt was not known.

“The? United States Embassy in Paris is working round the clock to assist American citizens affected by this tragedy,” Mark Toner, the deputy spokesman for the State Department, said in a statement. “?The U.S. government is working closely with French authorities to identify American victims. We are aware there are Americans among the injured, and are offering them the full range of consular assistance.”

The State Department said that United States citizens could call 1-888-407-4747 (from the United States) or +1-202-501-4444 (from overseas) for assistance.
