MSNBC Host Wears Tampon Earrings to Prove a Point or Something

On her weekend MSNBC show, host Melissa Harris-Perry decided to show some class by wearing homemade tampon earrings on national television in order to protest a new Texas law banning abortions after five months.

During her rant, Perry complained about tampons being banned from the Texas legislature but failed to acknowledge why they were banned. As a reminder, protestors brought used tampons, bricks and jars of urine and feces to the State Capitol with a goal of throwing them at pro-life legislators.

If you have to wear feminine hygiene products as accessories in order to make a "point," then it's clear you lost the argument a long time ago.
