SNL Mocks Trump’s Tweeting, Trump Tweets Back

It was bound to happen. SNL’s latest opening sketch lampoons President-elect Donald Trump for his Twitter usage.

The skit features Alec Baldwin’s Trump retweeting some really “great, smart” tweets, when he should be paying attention to an important security briefing on Syria.

"I just retweeted the best tweet. I mean, wow, what a great, smart tweet," Baldwin says after sharing a 16-year-old high schooler’s tweet - which actually happened last month.

Kate McKinnon’s Kellyanne Conway explains to the frustrated security advisors that Trump’s tweeting is meant “to distract the media from his business conflicts and all the very scary people in his cabinet.”

Baldwin cuts in: “Actually, that's not why I do it. I do it because my brain is bad.”

As expected, the real Trump wasn't impressed. He quickly took to his favorite social media site to denounce the show.

Just tried watching Saturday Night Live - unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

To which Alec Baldwin responded:

...@realDonaldTrump

Release your tax returns and I'll stop.

It doesn’t look like the feud between Trump and SNL will be ending anytime soon.
