Mitch McConnell Re-elected as Senate Majority Leader

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been re-elected by his colleagues, the Associated Press is reporting.

As the AP notes, the Majority Leader will be in close contact with President Trump and will be key in moving forward his agenda. 

McConnell's and Trump's personalities and backgrounds are so different that The Hill called them the ultimate political odd couple. Yet, they are ready to get to work. McConnell told reporters this week that his first meeting with the president-elect was "first class."
