WATCH: Interview With The Authors of 'Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer'

In 2013, abortionist Kermit Gosnell was sentenced to life in prison after being convicted of three counts of murder and one count of involuntary manslaughter. The case had all of the hallmarks of one that would enrapture the American public--there was racism, medical malpractice to the extreme, a prescription drug mill, and a government that was seemingly complacent in all that was happening. Yet, at the time of the trial, there was little-to-no media coverage of the court proceedings. In a society where people were glued to Nancy Grace's coverage of the "Tot Mom" and Jodi Arias trials, and where a docu-series of the O.J. Simpson trial was a hit TV show 20 years after the fact, this seemed inexplicable.

In an effort to make the general public aware of the horrors that happened at Gosnell's clinic, Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer wrote Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer. The book features interviews with Gosnell's former patients, police officers who investigated the scene, former clinic employees, and even Gosnell himself.

Townhall.com's Cortney O'Brien and Christine Rousselle interview the authors just steps from Friday's March for Life 2017.
