ISIS Reportedly Crucifies Priest on Good Friday

ISIS has reportedly crucified Indian priest Fr. Thomas Uzhunnalil on Good Friday. Fr. Uzhunnalil was kidnapped by ISIS on March 4 while working in Yemen at a home run by the Missionaries of Charity.

His crucifixion was confirmed by Cardinal Christoph Schonborn of Vienna on Saturday night, but there have been conflicting reports of this claim's accuracy.

Good Friday is the Christian observance of the day that Jesus Christ was crucified at Calvary prior to his resurrection on Easter Sunday. Catholics observe Good Friday through silence, prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.

Please pray for Fr. Uzhunnalil and all Christians living in the Middle East.
