On May 7th, Townhall political editor Guy Benson and Fox News analyst Marie Harf are set to debut a brand new show — appropriately named “Benson & Harf" — for Fox News Radio.
The program is set to air from 6 to 8 p.m. EST every weekday.
On Tuesday, Benson announced the show’s creation on Facebook:

Guy has been a contributor to Fox News since 2013. In that capacity, he has made innumerable appearances over the years both on Fox's main network and on Fox Business.

In contrast, Harf is a relative newcomer to the Fox News team, having just joined the network as a national security and political analyst in 2017. In the five years previous, she served as a member of the Obama administration in a wide variety of roles, including as a State Department deputy spokesperson and Secretary of State John Kerry's senior adviser for strategic communications.

Based in FNR’s newly named Tony Snow Radio Studio in Washington, DC, Benson and Harf will focus on the latest headlines emanating from the nation’s capital. They will be joined each night by expert guests to discuss the news of the day and engage in powerful debate, providing fast-paced, thoughtful discourse on relevant stories pertaining to politics, media and culture.
Benson joined FNC in 2013 and provides political commentary across FNC and FOX Business Network’s (FBN) daytime and primetime programming. Additionally, he serves as political editor of Townhall.com. In 2015, Benson was named to Forbes’ 2015 “30 under 30'” Law & Policy list and in 2017, landed on Huff Post’s roster for the “25 top millennial broadcasters in American news and politics.”
Throughout his career, he has served as a Media Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and a Visiting Fellow at Harvard University’s Institute of Politics. He is also a recipient of the College Republican National Committee’s biennial Lee Atwater “Outstanding Young Conservative” award. Benson is the co-author of “End of Discussion” and graduated with honors from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 2007.
Harf joined the network in 2017 to offer national security and political analysis across FNC and FBN’s daytime and primetime programming. She is a communications strategist who has held a variety of senior roles in government and democratic politics since arriving in Washington over a decade ago. Most recently, Harf served as the senior adviser for strategic communications to Secretary of State John Kerry and previously held the position of deputy spokesperson for the State Department from July 2013 until May 2015.
During the 2012 presidential election, she ran national security and foreign policy issues for President Barack Obama on his re-election campaign. She began her career at the Central Intelligence Agency and received a Master’s degree in foreign affairs from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in political science from Indiana University. Additionally, she served as a Fellow at Georgetown University in 2017.
