NRO's Andy McCarthy comments here on the glimmers of reporting about President Obama's days at Columbia and his left-wing anti-war associations. 

It might have been illuminating for the voting public to be able to contrast Obama's peacenik-y writings with the solid national security background of John McCain -- but unfortunately, the media was too busy trying to find Sarah Palin's political adversaries to bother.

So now the President is off to Russia to engage in "diplomacy" with yet another "misunderstood" country.  Let's hope for the sake of our national security that he's lost some of the naive adolescent ideas that so clearly infuse his collegiate writings.
