Harry Reid says that he thinks he has the votes to pass the pork bill.
His estimate includes two -- count 'em,
two -- Republican senators. That means that the "bipartisan" bill would boast two Republican votes out of the entire Congress.
Would the Democrats really dare to try to ram a bill that musters
only 37% support down the public's throat (and the Republicans')? Wow. Talk about the Chicago way coming to Capitol Hill . . .
Bad for the country; great politics -- for the Republicans, at least.
