Standby: Connecticut Governor’s Remains Uncalled

The votes are too close to call in the Connecticut race between Republican businessman Tom Foley and incumbent Democratic Governor Dannel Malloy. The latest results show Malloy has a slight two-point lead with just over 91 percent of precincts reporting.

Reuters reported Wednesday morning Foley is holding out, saying, “We actually are not sure we've lost the race in the same way he's actually not sure he's won the race. We probably have lost this race, but I'm not going to confirm until we are sure."

Dannel Malloy beat Tom Foley in 2010 by half a percentage point.
