Prince Phlip is doing okay after being involved in a car crash near the British royal family’s Sandringham Estate on Thursday. The 97-year-old Duke of Edinburgh was driving a Range Rover when it collided with another vehicle.

The accident looked worse than it actually was. Photos showed the duke's Range Rover had completely overturned.

BBC's royal correspondent Nicholas Witchell reported that the duke was conscious but very shocked and shaken. He emerged without any injuries. Two women in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and were treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

In August 2017, Prince Philip retired from his royal duties after 65 years. His wife Queen Elizabeth II ascended to the throne back in 1952. In that time he has performed over 22,000 solo engagements.
