Minnesota Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann will officially announce her candidacy for president in Iowa on Monday, Jon Ward of The Huffington Post reports.

Last week, Bachmann made a successful grab for headlines by announcing during Fox News’ Republican primary debate in New Hampshire that she intended to officially announce her candidacy.
