Biden’s 'Border' Chaos Gives Voters 3.8 million Reasons to Boot Democrats

The numbers on Joe Biden’s southern “border” crisis pour in almost as swiftly as the illegal aliens themselves.

This picture is not pretty. Indeed, it’s hideous. Biden and the Democrats deserve punishment Tuesday for the unmitigated catastrophe that they willfully have engineered on the U.S.-Mexico frontier.

Border Patrol agents encountered 1,055,879 illegal aliens during President Donald J. Trump’s final 20 months in office (June 1, 2019, through January 31, 2021 — including Biden’s first 11 days). In Biden’s first full 20 months as president (February 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022), Border Patrol incursions with illegals totaled 3,588,877 — up a stunning 362%.

During Trump’s Fiscal Years 2017 through ’20, 11 illegal aliens on the official terrorist watch list were apprehended at the “border” -- two, six, zero, and three, in those years, respectively. Under Biden, Border Patrol nabbed 113 designated terrorists -- 15 in FY 2021 and a mind-blowing 98 in FY 2022 -- up a chilling 3,666%.

And these are just those who were caught. How many terrorists got away? Who knows?

Speaking of gotaways, at least those illegal aliens in the two categories above were captured. “Known gotaways” are detected from helicopters, on horseback, through binoculars, etc. Alas, these illegals give law enforcement the slip and then slither into the American interior before federal officials can stop them. Most Border Patrol agents would love to nail these invaders. However, Biden sidetracks them as babysitters and travel agents for “border” breachers.

According to preliminary data via the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), October saw 86,796 “known gotaways” penetrate the southern boundary and vanish into the USA. Some 599,000 such gotaways melted into America in FY 2022. FAIR’s R.J. Hauman counts 1.1 million gotawys since Biden’s inaugural. He says that the Biden Administration has “created a lawless, greased-up turnstile into the United States.”

Ironically for Big Government types, Team Biden is exacerbating this mess because they cannot -- or will not -- handle paperwork.

According to Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC), “One out of every six new cases DHS initiates in Immigration Court are now being dismissed because CBP officials are not filing the actual ‘Notice to Appear (NTA).’” As TRAC explains, an immigrant and his attorney will “show up at hearings only to have the case dismissed by the Immigration Judge because the case hasn’t actually been filed with the Court.”

This incompetence is breathtaking:

During FYs 2019 and ’20 -- on President Trump’s watch -- 10,638 immigration cases were dismissed for lack of NTA documents. (FY 2019: 4,686 cases or 1.7% of total; ’20: 5,952 and 2.4%). In FY 2021 and ’22 -- under Biden -- 78,830 cases were tossed for want of NTAs (FY 2021: 15,244/10.5%; ’22: 65,586/16.6%). This easily avoided fiasco has swelled a nauseating 641% on Biden’s tenure.

Meanwhile, illegal aliens are learning that DHS means Dining, Hospitality, and Splendor.

According to documents that America First Legal obtained via open-records requests, Family Endeavors Inc. scored a multi-million-dollar, no-bid contract to nurture illegal aliens in veritable luxury. The Washington Times’ Stephen Dinan highlighted AFL’s findings.

After bursting into America without permission, illegals in Chandler and Phoenix, Arizona; and Cotulla, El Paso, and Pecos, Texas enjoy hotel rooms at two Best Westerns and at one location each of Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, MicroHotel, and Wood Springs Suites.

“Immigrants were given the option of meat at every meal, 24-hour access to drinks and snacks, babysitters to watch their children, television with programming in English and Spanish, and choices of mattresses for their beds,” Dinan wrote on Sunday.

Under Family Endeavors’ federal contract, Dinan explained, “each migrant must be provided with at least a 4-inch-thick mattress. If that wasn’t to their liking, they could ask to double up with at least two 3-inch pads.”

Arizona and Texas’ 40,000 vagrants, including 3,000 veterans, must wonder why they sleep on sidewalks while those who kicked down the Golden Door doze on duvets, fluffy pillows, and mattresses aux choix.

While some downtrodden Americans rely on food banks or simply beg, illegal aliens live like business travelers – and taxpayers foot the bill.

“Meat had to be a part of all three daily meals,” Dinan adds. “Kosher, halal and vegetarian meals also were available. All were delivered as room service.”

Illegals new to the technology receive tutoring on the “proper use of toilet tissue.”

And — why not? — “unfettered” access to attorneys.

The Washington Times also opened the blinds on DHS’ white-glove treatment for unaccompanied illegal-alien children. Their facilities included piped-in music “sensitive to culture and preference,” medical attention, and dental care -- even as everyday Americans dream of health insurance.

Furthermore, Dinan explains, “Dietitians scrutinized the menus each day to make sure they included whole grains but not whole milk.” When these abandoned foreign children grew weary of field trips, they still stayed busy: “ICE family facilities had soccer fields and volleyball courts, classrooms for children, computer labs and extensive cable television access.”

This is all dreadful news for American sovereignty, national security, fiscal restraint, and the rule of law. However, this also is an engraved invitation to storm the United States of Club Med.

The result?

A literal Normandy invasion of illegal aliens marching into America, as Fox News’s indispensable border correspondent Bill Melugin and his team discovered as their infrared drone hovered over Normandy, Texas.

Sunshine is the best disinfectant. No wonder Team Biden released many of these disgusting data on Friday, October 21, at 11:15 p.m., while Americans were out partying or already fast asleep.

On Election Day, the numbers that Team Biden wanted Americans to miss deserve deep scrutiny.
