Boris Johnson Brought Into David Cameron's Cabinet With No Role

Boris Johnson, the current mayor of London will have a seat at David Cameron's political cabinet meetings. Since last Friday, he's been doing double duty as a member of parliament, Johnson, who is widely seen as the front runner to succeed current prime minister Cameron, will be staying on as mayor until May 2016, but it's expected once he's done with that role he'll take up a position as a minister in the full cabinet. A spokesperson for Johnson confirmed to The Times that the role was not a ministerial appointment and that he wouldn't be attending full cabinet meetings or running any department.
