The Ladies of 'The View' Are Back to Rant About Guns Following Mass Shooting

Townhall Media

Here we go again. The ladies of The View are back to give their unsolicited advice about guns and the need for the Biden Administration to ban them.

On Friday, co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin rolled eyes after they remarked on using AR-15s for hunting and the 90s assault weapons ban.

More from Trending Politics:

During the show, Behar claimed, 'If you shoot with an AR-15, let's say you shoot a deer, you can't eat it. Because you basically demolish the animal.' Similarly, Sunny Hostin's claim that there were no mass shootings during the assault weapons ban of the 90s faced backlash. The tragic Columbine High School shooting occurred during this period. Further controversy arose when Behar made the assertion that gun manufacturers are 'making money off of dead people.'

The discussion prompted the hosts to spar over controversial gun control laws.

Social media users were upset about the host's comments, saying their statements were "irrelevant."

In addition, co-host Sara Haines and Hostin got into a spat after Haines said that she would "love to see an assault weapons ban," adding that people with mental health issues should not be allowed to own guns.

She expressed her support for red flag laws, making the absurd claim that every American does too.

Haines also claimed that "80 percent of voters approve the police taking the power of that weapon temporarily." However, she did provide any study or data on this.
