Joe Biden Severely Botches Press Conference

President Joe Biden botched what could have been a productive press conference after making a series of blunders while addressing the United States.

On Wednesday, Biden mispronounced one of the most prominent members of the Democratic Party, House Representative Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.), by referring to him as “Minority Leader Jeffers.”

Later in his speech, while announcing his new student debt loan forgiveness program, Biden said “argument” instead of “agreement,” despite reading directly from the teleprompter.

Arguably the most embarrassing moment he fumbled while touting his administration’s plan to roll out more money, the 80-year-old president failed to correctly direct the audience to a student aid website.

“Student aid dash gov, student aid dash…” Biden began to say. However, after hesitating, he incorrectly declared the wrong URL.

Another response that questioned his ability to serve as president was when a reporter asked his opinion on the next House Speaker.

“That’s above my pay grade,” the president responded before shuffling away from the podium.

In addition, Biden seemed to short circuit after being asked a question about the millions of dollars in aid the U.S. in sending to Ukraine.

According to a Pew Research study, fewer than four in ten U.S. adults, 37 percent, say they approve of Biden’s job performance as president, with six in ten saying they disapprove.

Only two-thirds of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents approve of Biden’s job performance, compared with just seven percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning voters.
