President Joe Biden and White House correspondent Peter Doocy got into a heated exchange after the reporter confronted the president about recent testimony from Devin Archer— a former business associate of Hunter Biden.
Doocy questioned Biden about Archer's claims that the president was present while speaking with several potential clients during his time as vice president, despite Biden denying he had any involvement.
"There's this testimony now where one of your son's former business associates claims that you were on speakerphone a lot with them talking business. What-" Doocy started to say.
However, Biden interjected, saying, "I never talked business with anybody, and I knew you'd have a lousy question."
"What – why is that a lousy question?" Doocy pressed.

"Because it's not true," Biden insisted before walking away.

Archer and Hunter Biden have previously served as business partners together on the board of Burisma Holdings, a prominent Ukrainian natural gas company.
The president has stuck to his word, telling Doocy in September 2019 that he has "never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings."
Following recent bombshells documents being revealed, once the House Oversight Committee said it had evidence that Biden had communicated directly with several of Hunter's foreign business associates, the White House changed its narrative from the president has "never discussed" business deals with his son to "never in business."
In July, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre also stood by the president's statements saying that "the president was never in business with his son. I just don't have anything else to add."
