Former Vice President Joe Biden weighed in on COVID-19 on Monday morning, pivoting away from Tara Reade's growing case of sexual misconduct against him. The former vice president joined the trend on the Left of politicizing COVID-19, and using the global health pandemic as a tool to further the Democrats' ideological agenda.

Despite claiming to be committed to uniting the country, the former vice president continues to use a crisis for political gain. The presumed Democratic nominee characterized the global pandemic as a "tremendous opportunity" to "transform the country:"

Biden's rhetoric on COVID-19 echoes the sentiment of his close ally in Congress, Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), who also claimed that the pandemic was a restructuring opportunity.

"This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision," Rep. Clyburn said in March, of the bipartisan relief packages.

Biden has spent the majority of this global health pandemic attacking President Trump, rewriting history in order to place blame on the president and criticizing the administration's bold action against COVID-19.
