Last week, ICE arrested Salah Sarsour, president of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee. He has deep ties to Hamas and fundraised for Rep. Rashida Tlaib. He also lied on his application to enter the U.S. (after previously being rejected), and was convicted of a Molotov attack in Israel.
In short, he deserved to be arrested and deported. As someone who lives in a Milwaukee suburb with a large Islamic presence (a halal grocery store is opening blocks from my home), I have a vested interest in making sure Islamic terrorists and Islamists are deported from this country. I've seen the rot of Islamic culture already, even in small ways. Setting aside its trans policies, I refuse to go to the local Planet Fitness — literally walking distance from my house — because Islamic men sit and watch their women (always in full Islamic garb) work out.
Islam is wholly incompatible with Western civilization and we should not, cannot, and do not have to tolerate it.
Which means, of course, that major Democrats in Wisconsin are on the side of Sarsour, a literal terrorist.

Yet every Dem running for gov wants to cut him loose.
Is there a single criminal alien they are willing to remove? pic.twitter.com/BaMPg9NAW0
Francesca Hong, a Democrat and socialist running for governor, wrote on Facebook, "Br. Salah is being targeted on the basis of his Palestinian and Muslim background, and his advocacy for Palestinian rights. We know this fight for Br. Salah is part of a larger trend of attacks on immigrants that whittle away at democratic norms and legal protections for everyone."

Calling him "Brother Salah" is an interesting choice, because Hamas would murder someone like Hong and not even think twice about it.
Another Democratic gubernatorial candidate, and former Lt. Governor, Mandela Barnes said something similar. He called the arrest "inexcusable."
"The Trump administration used ICE to hunt down a legal resident of Milwaukee, ripping him away from his wife, children, and the community he's lived in for over 32 years without any explanation."
There's been explanations. Sarsour lied on his application after being rejected. He was convicted of crimes in Israel, and he has deep ties to a designated terrorist organization that carried out the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust.
Yet Mandela Barnes is on Sarsour's side.
Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, also running for governor, said what happened to Sarsour "is an affront to everything Wisconsin stands for."
Wisconsin stands for Islamic terrorism? That's news to me, and will probably be news to a lot of Wisconsinites who don't live in Milwaukee or Dane Counties.
Other Democrats chimed in as well, defending Sarsour, a convicted terrorist.

"Targeting peopel because of their beliefs or background is wrong," wrote Gov. Tony Evers, who routinely attacks conservatives and Republicans.
Senator Tammy Baldwin said "This looks like ICE targeting someone because of their skin color or what they believe — and that is not the American way."
Sarsour believes in Hamas and Islamic terrorism. ICE is allowed, and obligated to remove him from the country for that.
Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson said the arrest is an "outrage."
"There is no substantive evidence he has done anything wrong," Johnson wrote. Except for the terrorism charges in Israel, the falsified application, and his ties to Hamas, that is.
But there you have it, folks, in black and white. A slew of Wisconsin Democrats have decided that not only are Islamic terrorists welcome and necessary in Wisconsin, but that they're reflective of our values. They ignore the ties to Hamas, the crimes, and the lying in order to keep guys like Sarsour in our community. There isn't a single condemnation of any of it, nor any refutation of the charges against Sarsour. That tells me Democrats don't care what Sarsour did. He checks the right boxes, so he's welcome in the fold.
Part of this is because Democrats despise Trump more than they care about us (and they don't care about us with or without Trump in the White House), and because they are eager and willing to bend the knee to Islamists in our midst.
That is not the Wisconsin way.
