Fox News’ Bret Baier is attempting to put concerns to rest as he gears up for his Wednesday interview with Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris in the battleground state of Pennsylvania.
The scheduled interview has prompted skepticism from some viewers and criticism from former President Donald Trump.
Responding to a number of X users who questioned what Fox News agreed to do in order to snag the interview, Baier said “there were no preconditions.” He also said “no one has the questions ahead of time” except him, and that there is no topic that’s “off the table.”
After CBS News was caught editing its recent interview with Harris, Baier said the only editing that will be done will be for timing.
“And if there is any editing – it will be very minimal for timing and will be editorially the same question and answer,” he wrote, noting that “we are pre taping the interview right before my live show Wednesday in Pa.”

It will run as-Live - in its entirety. It is taped because they gave us a time just before my show. We plan to run it uninterrupted — and not edited. https://t.co/bQJM0P2ibR

Baier told viewers he already has a list of questions but invited viewers to submit their own.
