No amount of spin could make presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's racial comment from his Friday morning interview with Charlamagne on "The Breakfast Club" appear better than it did.
After facing some tough questions from the host throughout the interview, Biden snapped at the end: "If you have a problem figuring out whether you're for me or Trump, then you ain't black."
"It don't have nothing to do with Trump, it has to do with the fact -- I want something for my community," Charlamagne responded.
While the Trump and Biden campaigns have responded, and social media is blowing up over the comment, it's worth checking in to see how black politicians who support President Trump feel about Biden's remarks.
Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) pointed out during an interview with "Varney & Co." that the comment comes from a man who sponsored a crime bill that "jailed more African-American males than any other legislation."
"And President Trump comes along, and through his criminal justice reform, corrects the absolute mistakes made by Joe Biden; 1.3 million African-Americans voted for Trump," he continued. "He's saying to 1.3 million African-Americans that you are not black? Who in the heck does he think he is? That is the most arrogant, outrageous comment that I've heard in a very long time, and I take offense to that."

Democratic State Rep. Vernon Jones, who has faced backlash from his party after coming out in support of President Trump, also weighed in.

"First of all, I have a problem with his choice of language," Jones said in a video response. "Secondly, this is a prime example of how liberal Democrats, they love to dictate the way black people should think. You know what? I got a message for Joe Biden...I ain't voting for you, but I am black. And I am voting for President Donald J. Trump. You got me, Joe Biden?"
