Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) unveiled a detailed economic plan for the United States to begin to cut economic ties with China. Sen. Loeffler’s USA Restoring & Igniting the Strength of our Economy (USA RISE) strategy seeks to bolster job growth at home, end dependence on China and create new economic opportunities for Americans.
The USA RISE plan is a framework for ending our dependence on Chinese medical supplies and reigniting America’s economic growth. It puts American workers, small businesses, and families first. Read more here: https://t.co/ER84BBYAGH #gapol #gasen

To do so, we must enable the private sector to kickstart without federal red tape & mitigate the risks of relying on other countries for critical resources by incentivizing American businesses to manufacture on American soil.
Sen. Loeffler’s plan is boosted by her 20-year career in the finance industry within the private sector, and knowledge of the intricacies of the United States’ supply chain. Also a member of President Trump’s Congressional Economic Task Force, Sen. Loeffler joins Republican colleagues in holding China accountable for the global destruction caused by the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) negligence toward and cover-up of COVID-19.
In addition to cutting dependence on China, Sen. Loeffler's plan details incentives and relief measures for statewide economic shutdowns during COVID-19, including a focus on infrastructure, a revamp of Agriculture trade deals with China and a complete elimination of the payroll tax for the remainder of 2020.
“‘The U.S. should never again have to rely on a foreign country – especially China – for critical components and products we can make right here in at home, made for and by Americans,’ Loeffler said, per Fox News.
While Democrats turn a blind eye to China’s role in the spread of COVID-19, which originated in Wuhan, GOP senators continue to lead the fight to hold the CCP accountable and cut economic ties with China.
