Two Democrats Corroborate Tara Reade's Sexual Assault Allegation Against Joe Biden

Democrats and the Democratic media complex have done everything in their power to bury a sexual assault allegation made against former Vice President Joe Biden. Former Senate staffer Tara Reade said Biden sexually assaulted her almost 30 years ago when he represented Delaware in the United States Senate.

Reade worked for Biden's office from December 1992 to August 1993 as a staff assistant. Reade claims "Biden pinned her against a wall in 1993 and reached under her shirt and her skirt."

Ever since she brought forth a sexual assault allegation against the former veep, the mainstream media has been silent. Even after a clip from “Larry King Live” in 1993 shows Reade’s mother calling into the show to ask for advice on her daughter's behalf, there was absolutely no talk of the clip on weekend news programs or Sunday talk shows.

Even though Reade reportedly told her brother, Collin Moulton, and another friend, about the alleged assault after it took place, there's even more evidence to corroborate her account. One of her former neighbors, Lynda LaCasse, told Business Insider that Reader provided details about the alleged assault during the 1990s.

"This happened, and I know it did because I remember talking about it," LaCasse said.

"I remember her saying, here was this person that she was working for and she idolized him," the former neighbor recalled. "And he kind of put her up against a wall. And he put his hand up her skirt and he put his fingers inside her. She felt like she was assaulted, and she really didn't feel there was anything she could do."

According to LaCasse, Reade was "upset" and "crying" as she talked about the alleged assault. LaCasse instructed the staffer to file a police report but doesn't remember many details.

"I don't remember all the details," LaCasse said. "I remember the skirt. I remember the fingers. I remember she was devastated."

Reade's former neighbor said she decided to speak up about the previous conversation because of the scrutiny the former staffer is facing, especially in the media.

"I have to support her just because that's what happened," LaCasse said. "We need to stand up and tell the truth."

The former neighbor said the two lived in the apartment complex and frequently sat on their porch chit-chatting. The allegation came up randomly one night.

"We were talking about violent stories because I had a violent situation. We just started talking about things and she just told me about the senator that she had worked for and he put his hand up her skirt," she called.

Interestingly enough, LaCasse is a Democrat and could face political repercussions for speaking out against the presumed Democratic nominee.

"I personally am a Democrat, a very strong Democrat," she told Business Insider. "And I'm for Biden, regardless. But still I have to come out and say this."

Even though Reade never asked LaCasse to come forward to corroborate the story, she said she decided to because of how Reade was being portrayed in the media.

"She didn't ask me to," LaCasse said. "I volunteered to do that just recently. If this was me, I would want somebody to stand up for me. It takes a lot of guts to do what she's doing."

After working in Washington, D.C., Reade moved to California where she worked for State Sen. Jack O'Connell. During her time there, she worked with Lorraine Sanchez, a legislative staffer. Sanchez recalled similar conversations about the Biden allegations and Reade's ultimate dismissal for making the allegation.

"[Reade said] she had been sexually harassed by her former boss while she was in DC and as a result of her voicing her concerns to her supervisors, she was let go, fired," the former coworker said.

Sanchez repeatedly reassured Reade that nothing like that would take place in O'Connell's office. She also said Reade made it clear she had never experienced any other kind of harassment while working in Washington.

It takes great courage and strength to come forward," Sanchez said in a statement to Insider. "It's much easier to keep silent. However, I also understand the duty we have as women to share our story regardless of who the perpetrator may be."
