Samantha Bee Uses Jesus' Birth to Take a Shot At Fox News

Comedian and TV host Samantha Bee ended her Christmas special on TBS by using the birth of Jesus Christ to take a jab at Fox News.

"You know, in a lot of Christmas specials, this would be the time when I learn the true meaning of Christmas, but I already know it. Here it is. On Christmas, we celebrate the birth of a man whose message was one of radical kindness, a man who said, 'Whatever you do for the least of these, you do for me.' If you’re not doing your best to show compassion for the poor, the weak, the sick, and, yes, the immigrants, then you are doing Christmas wrong! I don’t care what the Hell is on your Starbucks cup," Bee said.

"Anyway...Jesus loves me and he hates Fox News," she added.

As she spoke, the lower third of the screen encouraged people to text "KIND" to a number to donate to a charity.

Bee's special predominantly targeted U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and special guests included Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon.

As Bee skated on the ice rink, she then wished everyone a Merry Christmas and encouraged viewers to, "Be good to each other."

Bee followed her advice by calling Ivanka Trump a "feckless c*nt." Her show also called a Conservative Political Action Committee attendee a Nazi because of his haircut, which was styled that way because he was being treated for brain cancer.
