An editor with "The Christian Post" quit his position after the outlet published an editorial defending President Trump and criticized "Christianity Today's" editorial that supported his removal from office now that he has been impeached from the House.
Napp Nazworth, who identifies himself as a NeverTrumper, wrote that he was "abruptly...forced to make the difficult choice" to leave the Post because of their decision to publish the editorial "that positions them on Team Trump."
Nazworth said he is "saddened" that he had to leave, since he was with the company for over eight years, but it was necessary since the Post has "chosen to silo themselves" with Trump supporters.

"They've chosen to represent a narrow (and shrinking) slice of Christianity. That might be a good business decision, short term at least. But it's bad for Democracy, and bad for the Gospel. It means there will be one more place where readers can go for bias confirmation, but one less place where readers can go to exercise their brains on diversity of thought," Nazworth wrote.
Nazworth added he will "say more about how Christians sully the name of Christ in their alliance with Trump in the new year."
The Post's editorial criticized "Christianity Today's" faith "elitism" and pointed to how Billy's Graham's family, whose famed patriarch found the magazine, have distanced themselves from the publication.
