Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) is the ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee. He's served in Congress since 2013. But, CNN chose to highlight a different characteristic of his during a recent discussion on impeachment. According to the network, it was worth noting that Nunes is an "ardent Trump supporter."
As Abigail Marone, who is a part of the Trump campaign's rapid response team, notes, CNN did not do Chairman Adam Schiff the same courtesy in his description, even though we all know he is one of the most vehement Trump critics.

At the start of today's second public hearing in the impeachment inquiry against Trump, the president released the transcript of his first call with Zelensky. It revealed no discussion of the Bidens and consisted mostly of small talk and congratulations for the new Ukrainian president.
But again Schiff found reason to balk. While he was "grateful" that Trump released the document, he wishes the president would stop interrupting the impeachment proceedings and stop "trying to obstruct" the inquiry. He also said the transcript is not good enough. They want to see more documents from the White House.
The whistleblower complaint against Trump that launched the impeachment inquiry alleged that Trump tried to pressure Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who sat on the board of a corrupt Ukrainian gas company, or risk U.S. military aid. The transcript of that call showed no "quid pro quo." So Democrats updated their language to accuse Trump of "bribery."
It sure seems like Democrats are just trying to reverse the 2016 election, or at the very least prevent his re-election. That's something even Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) admitted this week.
But, don't forget Devin Nunes and his Republican colleagues are "Trump supporters."
