Trump Responds to Iran Shooting Down a U.S. Drone

Last night Iran used a surface to air missile to shoot down a United States drone over international waters in the Strait of Hormuz.

President Trump is responding to the Islamic regime, saying they’ve made a big mistake.

President Trump met with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the White House Thursday as Iran continues to attack American targets and interests overseas.

Last month, Pompeo and the Department of Defense warned about an escalations from Iran based on new intelligence. Pompeo made a surprise trip to Baghdad just before it was revealed Iran had loaded missiles into boats and aimed them toward American assets. Since then, Iran is responsible for a mortar attack near the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, the bombing of two civilian oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman and more.

As the maximum pressure campaign on Iran continues to squeeze the regime, its corrupt leaders are looking for a way to extort European countries still in the Iran’s nuclear agreement. They’ve vowed to continue the enrichment of uranium above levels laid out in the deal, reaffirming their goal of building a nuclear weapon.
