Another Anti-Semitic Trope: Rashida Tlaib Attempts To Spin Hamas' Attack On Israel

Palestinian militants launched more than 600 rockets into Israel on Saturday. Israel was forced to launch counter attacks, striking hundreds of Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets along the Gaza Strip.

As of now, three Israeli men and eight Palestinians, including a pregnant woman and her infant niece, have been killed as a result of the conflict.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) took to Twitter on Sunday to slam the New York Times for a headline about the attack: "Gaza militants fire 250 rockets, and Israel responds with airstrikes." The Times headline is accurate, considering that is precisely how the attack started.

Prominent conservatives slammed Tlaib for her anti-Semitic comments:

Tlaib's remarks come one day after Australian Shia Muslim Imam and President of the Islamic Association of South Australia Imam Mohamad Tawhid slammed Tliab and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for failing to condemn Hamas' terrorism.

It's not surprising that Tlaib made the comments she did. She has advocated on behalf of Palestine. She's taken part in events for Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR). Sadly, this is another disgusting, anti-Semitic take on her part.

Rep. Ilhan Omar said those of us who support Israel have "dual loyalty" to Israel. Maybe, just may, Tlaib and Oamr's "dual loyalty" resides with Palestine.
