Okay, so remember when Donald Trump said, half-jokingly, that he would accept the 2016 results…if he wins? The media went has a spastic attack, Trump was a threat to the country, a threat to our institution, but it’s okay; Hillary was going to win. Well, that blew up in their faces. So, what happens when the Democrats do it? There’s a deafening silence. It’s expected. But failed Democratic Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams has become the gold standard when it comes to the Left throwing a tantrum over election losses. She says she didn’t lose, but in fact, “won” the race. That’s demonstrably false; she lost by more than 50,000 votes.
Still, she’s stuck to this claim that she “won” the race, refusing to concede on election night last November (via RCP):
"I acknowledge that former of Secretary of State Brian Kemp will be certified the victor in the 2018 gubernatorial election," Abrams said Friday night. "But to watch an elected official, who claims to represent the people in the state, baldly pin his hopes for election on the suppression of the people's democratic right to vote has been truly appalling."
"Voting is not a right for some. It is a right for all and it is not a privilege. I stand here today as a witness to that truth," Abrams said.
"So let's be clear, this is not a speech of concession,” Abrams said. “Because concession means to acknowledge an action is right, true or proper. As a woman of conscience and faith, I cannot concede that."
As for a 2020 run for Georgia’s Senate seat, she’s not going to run. Instead, she’s launching a crusade for voting rights (via WaPo):
In a quiet suite of offices above a bank in this eastern Atlanta suburb, Democrat Stacey Abrams’s newest venture is quickly taking shape.
With her decision this week not to run for U.S. Senate, Abrams is directing her political energy squarely into promoting voting rights, the cause that helped propel her unsuccessful bid in Georgia last year to be the nation’s first African American female governor and made her a star in national Democratic circles.
Abrams’s command center is now Fair Fight Action, a nonprofit she formed in December to increase access to elections and combat what she describes as Republicans’ systemic efforts to suppress voters of color. The organization, where at least four former campaign aides work, has already filed a federal lawsuit over the election, lobbied for legislative reform and released videos featuring Abrams.
And alas, her latest episode of insanity when it comes to elections: the Left doesn’t need to concede anymore:
.@staceyabrams giving defiant speech to @AnniesListTX, saying she won't be a "good sport" & go away quietly after election in which she was wronged. "We don't have to concede elections anymore, b/c when we concede, we are condoning systems that are used to oppress us," she says.

And when it comes to expanding voting rights, don’t forget that Abrams is totally fine letting illegal aliens vote, so it’s just another whine project for a losing Democrats looking to stay in the spotlight. Abrams lost fair and square. She’s going to have to deal with it.
