The U.S. Secret Service shared a touching memory of former President George H.W. Bush on Tuesday of when he shaved his head in 2013 after learning the 2-year-old son of one of the agents in his detail was diagnosed with leukemia.
“Everyone's #TuesdayThoughts are on President Bush & we wanted to share a memory. In '13, Timberwolf learned that the 2-year-old son of an agent on his detail was diagnosed with leukemia & the detail was going to shave their heads,” the Secret Service tweeted. “You can see what happened, in classic 41 manner.”

The accompanying photos show Bush, with a shaved head, holding the toddler, and with the security detail, where all agents are shown with shaved heads to support the child.
“Timberwolf” was Bush’s Secret Service code name.
The 41st president will be honored with a state funeral on Wednesday in a service at the Washington National Cathedral.
Another departure ceremony is due to take place at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland at 1:15 p.m. ET. Bush's casket will take the presidential plane dubbed "Special Mission 41" for the funeral process back to Texas. He will then be taken to St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Houston, where he is scheduled to lie in repose from 6:45 p.m. Wednesday until 6:00 a.m. CT the following day. A second service is scheduled for Thursday, after which he will be taken via a train bearing his name to his final resting place at the George H.W. Bush Presidential Library. (CNN)
