WATCH: Jim Acosta Attempts to Bait Sarah Sanders Into Identifying CNN As The 'Enemy of the People'

CNN's Jim Acosta is no stranger to asking controversial questions during the White House's press briefings. During today's briefing, Acosta attempted to bait Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders into saying which journalists and news outlets are considered to be the "enemy of the people."

"Could you state, for the record, which outlets you and the president regard as the 'enemy of the people'?" Acosta asked.

"I'm not going to walk through a list but those individuals probably know who they are," Sanders responded.

"Would that include my outlet, which received a bomb last week?" Acosta asked.

"I don't think it's necessarily specific to a general, broad generalization of a full outlet," Sanders explained. "At times I think there's individuals that the president would be referencing."

"So you're not going to state for the record then?" Acosta asked. "If the president is going to say that the fake news media are the enemy of the people and you're going to stand there and continue to say that there are some journalists with some news outlets in this country with that characterization, shouldn't you have the guts, Sarah, to state which outlets, which journalists, are the enemy of the people?"

"I think it's irresponsible of a news organization, like yours, to blame responsibility of a pipe bomb that was not sent by the president. Not just blame the president, but blame members of his administration for those heinous acts, I think that is outrageous and irresponsible," Sanders replied.

Acosta tried to ask another question. Sanders interrupted him. "Jim, I've given you three questions," she said bluntly.

Yes, Jim. We all know that you are at odds with President Trump and his policies. The average American knows that you and CNN are liberally bias and will never give fair, honest coverage to the president.

Why do you need Sarah Huckabee Sanders to admit that? Is it so that CNN can come back and say they're not being treated fairly by the Trump administration? Is it so that you can blame your failing rating on your "lack of access" to the president and his cabinet?

Seriously, what was your end goal with this line of questioning? Because we all saw through your crap.
