President Trump took to Twitter Friday morning to address the ongoing controversy surrounding leftist entertainer Samantha Bee.
Bee came under fire Thursday after calling White House Senior Advisor Ivanka Trump, who is also the first daughter, a "feckless c*nt." The vicious insult came during a monologue on her show, which was approved by multiple producers and typed into a teleprompter.
Bee issued an apology.
I would like to sincerely apologize to Ivanka Trump and to my viewers for using an expletive on my show to describe her last night. It was inappropriate and inexcusable. I crossed a line, and I deeply regret it.

As did TBS, the show's network.
This just in from TBS: "Samantha Bee has taken the right action in apologizing for the vile and inappropriate language she used about Ivanka Trump last night. Those words should not have been aired. It was our mistake too, and we regret it."

But unlike Roseanne Barr, whose entire show was cancelled earlier this week after she tweeted a racial slur against former Obama White House advisor Valerie Jarrett, Bee firmly remains in her position. It should be noted, Barr also apologized for her comments.

That double standard caught President Trump's attention.
Why aren’t they firing no talent Samantha Bee for the horrible language used on her low ratings show? A total double standard but that’s O.K., we are Winning, and will be doing so for a long time to come!

Sponsors of the show, like State Farm and Auto Trader, have pulled their advertisements.
