The British Parliament is under a "sustained and determined" cyberattack which began Friday, a source told HuffPost UK. The attack was aimed at the email accounts of members of Parliament and their staff, and has resulted in security staff shutting off remote access and mobile phone access to the email system.
A few politicians have confirmed the attack and lack of remote access on Twitter:
There's something wrong with Parliamentary emails so if you did email me, can you send to ian.c.austin@outlook.com instead plse?

Apologies. https://t.co/nDQHSVyCCB
HuffPost UK obtained an email sent to the affected people:Sorry no parliamentary email access today - we're under cyber attack from Kim Jong Un, Putin or a kid in his mom's basement or something...

The attack comes just a month after the NHS system was hit by a cyberattack.
