Oh Man: Obama Probably Regrets This Trump Insult Now

Shocking election results often allow supporters of the winning candidate to serve up piping hot plates of schadenfreude, and Donald Trump's upset victory is no exception. This clip started making the rounds on Righty twitter in the immediate aftermath of Trump being declared the winner last week; its renewed relevance was made especially delicious because Lefties had shared the hell out of it in October as the ultimate 'mic drop' smack-down of the man they were sure would lose. So sure, in fact, that President Obama agreed to tempt fate by making this 'joke' on Jimmy Kimmel's late night show -- and apparently did so with great relish. Oops:

Meanwhile, over in the "be careful what you wish for" department, here's British comedian and liberal hero snarkily 'begging' Trump to enter the presidential race back in 2013.  "This country, which does not want you to be president..."  Oops:

Finally, via Allahpundit, there's this spectacularly cringeworthy nugget from a New York Times piece explaining Team Hillary's desperate 'blame Comey' spin.  Oops:

Mrs. Clinton’s instinct to shun any personal responsibility angered some Democrats. Several donors on the call, while deeply bitter about Mr. Comey’s actions, said they believed that Mrs. Clinton and her campaign had suffered avoidable missteps that handed the election to an unacceptable opponent...Mrs. Clinton’s campaign was so confident in her victory that her aides popped open Champagne on the campaign plane early Tuesday. But that conviction, aides would later learn, was based largely on erroneous data showing that young, black and Latino voters and suburban women who had been turned off by Mr. Trump’s comments but viewed Mrs. Clinton unfavorably would turn out for her in higher numbers than they ultimately did.

Hoo boy, that's some weapons-grade schadenfreude.  Pride cometh, etc.  And remember, Hillary's campaign was actively rooting for Trump to win the GOP primaries, believing him to be a "dream" match-up for her in a general election:

He beat her despite being weighed down by an astonishing 61 percent unfavorable rating among Americans who voted.  Trump was reportedly just as surprised as anyone else when he pulled it off.  She was going to lose this race no matter who she faced.  Period.  She just didn't realize it.
