The conservative legal group Judicial Watch may not have gotten their wish that Hillary Clinton testify under oath about her using a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state, but a judge has ruled that she must at least answer their written questions.
Judge Emmet Sullivan wrote that “Judicial Watch has failed to demonstrate that it cannot obtain the discovery it seeks through other, less burdensome or intrusive means such as interrogatories.”
In particular, the group is determined to find out why Clinton felt the need to use a private server in the first place, as well as more information about her aide Huma Abedin's questionable relationship to the State Department.
Judicial Watch has until Oct. 14 to provide Clinton its questions, after which the Democratic nominee has 30 days to respond.
