Louisville, KY- The National Rifle Association’s Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre warned attendees of the National Rifle Association-Institute for Legislative Action Leadership Forum that a Clinton White House would be “ground zero” for attacks against our freedoms.
LaPierre said that under Hillary’s watch, the world has become ever more dangerous, as she attacks our Second Amendment right to self-defense. He added that if she could, Clinton would take away every gun in America and would destroy every magazine. This is not a joke. If Clinton gets one Supreme Court nominee confirmed, the Court is at risk of reversing D.C. v. Heller, thereby saying that the Second Amendment is a government right and no longer an individual one.
“That’s not the America we inherited,” he said. “That’s not the America we want for our children.”
LaPierre said that the erosion of our liberties won’t happen overnight, but the wheels would be set in motion on Clinton’s first night as president. He added that we know a Clinton White House would be ground zero in launching attacks against our liberties. We know it would be a “haven” for Hollywood elites who plot the “destruction of our Second Amendment.” Lastly, it would be a “cesspool” for liberal news media elitists to bombard the airwaves against our gun rights.
It would be a Clinton White House that would put the full weight of a weaponized Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and Internal Revenue Service against groups (and people) they don’t like, while ignoring the real problems facing the nation.

LaPierre said that criminals with guns are getting way with murder, and that the full weight of the government in enforcement of its federal firearm laws is absent. Instead, the Obama administration decided to put its full weight in the toilet, literally, injecting itself into the North Carolina transgender bathroom bill fight (and school districts across the country) that some argue is discriminatory.
He closed by saying that we in this room are America’s best hope, and this is our moment. Get out there and fight for your rights.
