Fourteen are confirmed dead and 21 wounded in the attack that took place yesterday in San Bernardino, California.

There were three pipe bombs found outside the SUV where the firefight with police took place.  They were attached to a remote control car with a remote detonation.  The suspects fired 76 rounds at police.  Over 1400 rounds of .223 were found accessible inside the SUV.  One police officer was shot in the leg and the SUV that the suspects were in was a rental car rented three days ago.

The male suspect, Syed Farook, was driving the rented SUV as his wife was firing shots out of the back at trailing police cars.

Inside the home of the two suspects, police describe what looks to be an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) facility.  Syed Farook has traveled to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in the past.  It is believed that his wife, the other suspect, was picked up in Saudi Arabia and brought to the United States for a legal marriage last July.  They conceived a child somewhere around that time.

The suspects have no criminal record and there is still no motive.
