Unless you've been under a rock for most of today, you're aware that former Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) has entered the 2016 election. While the announcement was fairly standard for a potential candidate (minus the immense amount of decorated Navy SEALS that some people may or may not have recognized), one thing in particular stood out: his epic country-rap campaign song.
Take note, every other candidate running for president:
The song is a Rick Perry remix of the Colt Ford song "Answer to No One," which is still a pretty badass song even without the added references to Rick Perry. (Sample lyrics: I won't back up, I don't back down/I've been raised up to stand my ground/Take my job but not my guns/Tax my check till I ain't got none)
Twitter was quick to recognize the genius/hilarity of the song:
