Here are some other highlights and headlines that I noticed over at Ransom Notes Radio:
UC Berkeley is turning food into an LGBT issue with their new series, “Queering Agriculture.” I assume this is where farmers let their vegetables self-identify as the food they wish.
A pro-gun control Democrat (is there any other kind left?) said he hasn’t met a single person who “needs” a high capacity magazine. He also said the only people who are interested in such tools are people arming against the government… I bet King George would have said something similar.
Actually, there are some pro-gun Democrats. Most of them live in Vermont. I guess we’ll find out whether or not there are enough of them to stop the latest anti-gun bill proposals being pushed by the state’s more “progressive” Democrats.
Obama says he is hopeful for a nuclear deal with Iran because Tehran told him that obtaining nuclear weapons would run contrary to their religion. (Neville Chamberlin called. He wants his foreign policy back.)
Two New Jersey teens had their snow-shoveling operation closed down because they “solicited business” without a government permit. Perhaps state auditors should make sure they paid all appropriate taxes, and correctly formed an LLC, as well.
The University of California student government voted to have the university financially divest from America. Oddly enough, these anti-American kids did not say anything about refusing taxpayer money, or dropping federal student loans.
An archer in California is receiving death threats after offering to teach children how to hunt. Either the anti-hunting crowd is pretty angry, or the wildlife in California is far more advanced than originally thought.
