While talking about the Tea Party’s attempts to block the President’s agenda, Joe Biden said that “you cannot sustain a democracy without arriving at a consensus.” Well, good news, Joe: We don’t live in a democracy… We live in a republic.
Those environmentalists who took part in the NYC climate-change protest apparently never saw the Sesame Street episode about not littering. The irony was almost as thick as the garbage by the time they left the area.
