NYTimes: Glenn Beck Was Right

Mark this date on your calendar.

Hell is experiencing unusually chilly temperatures and on a farm somewhere in the Midwest, pigs have taken flight.

The New York Times

today says Glenn Beck "was right."

The Times' editorial examines the Obama administration's "rush to judgment" and defends Beck as a moral compass of sorts throughout the whole Shirley Sherrod fiasco:

The administration’s haste to fire Ms. Sherrod was unfair and unseemly. She told of how an agriculture under secretary phoned her to demand she resign instantly via her BlackBerry. The official anxiously cited the likelihood the furor would “be on Glenn Beck tonight.”

By the time the conservative commentator took up the issue, the full transcript of the speech was out and Mr. Beck was citing Ms. Sherrod — but as a victim of administration recklessness. This time, he was right.

To Glenn Beck, I just want to say keep on keepin' on

And to the New York Times... I know this was a hard, bitter pill fo you to swallow.  But don't be discouraged--I have faith that you'll be back to your old antics, smearing Beck and distorting the news tomorrow.  For now, let us rejoice in this savory and rare moment of liberal media clarity.  Thank you.
